Room 305, Friday Night

Stressed out from the dreams she'd been having and looking for glowing rocks, as well as blissfully unaware of what either of those things meant, Adora had decided to make an early night of it.

She been out like a light almost as soon as her head hit the pillow in a deep, thankfully, dreamless sleep.

Okay she probably wouldn't have been so thankful if she she knew why those dreams had stopped.

[For one or the roomie!]

Unfortunately for everyone involved, the resurrection of Shadow Weaver's sense of shame was apparently lagging well behind the rest of her as she glided silently into the room and up to Adora's bedside as if she had every right to be here.

It had been years since Adora had slept so deeply and peacefully in her presence. (And who's fault was that, Shadow Weaver? Yours. It was all yours.) Not since she was a very small child.

Overcome with nostalgia and proving she'd learnt absolutely nothing since the last time she was in Adora's sleeping quarters uninvited, she bent down to stroke her hair.

"Oh, Adora, do be reasonable," Shadow Weaver chided gently, completely undeterred.

Honestly, Shadow Weaver expected these kind of theatrics from Catra. By some miracle of self control she refrained from saying so out loud. "Adora, put that thing down, I'm already dead."

Why wasn't she happy to see her?

But she'd sacrificed herself for them! That fixed everything! There was certainly no need for Adora to wave a sword that was flickering in and out of existence in her face.

"Adora! Stop this nonsense immediately, child!"
